Why Do I Get Light Headed With Dizzy Spells?

I keep getting light headed and dizzy spells which seems to make my head feel tight as if my vision is about to go and i am about to pass out it happens when i m sitting down, standing or when i m in any position really. This has been going on for about 3 weeks and i am also feeling tierd all the time and struggle to wake up in the mornings more so then usual. What could this be and should i be consulting my doctor?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are suggestive of a possible vertigo related issue. The origin of the vertigo could either be neurogenic or cardiogenic. Differentiating between the two needs examination.

So I will recommend that you meet your doctor for a suitable examination followed by an appropriate prescription. Meanwhile, watch your fluid and electrolyte intake.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
