Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of getting slimy, mucousy taste in mouth after eating something and in spite you have this problem you could not point out the reasons of it. It is kind of a random, also makes you nauseous, brush your teeth and use mouth wash but does not go away completely.
The most probable causes are:
Something in the food that is digested and absorbed by the intestines, goes to the blood and hence to the
salivary gland to be secreted in saliva and thus making the slimy and mucousy taste in the mouth.
Another reason can be sub-clinical
mucositis causing you the feeling that you have.
I would advise you the following:
Consult an Oral Surgeon or an ENT Surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation so that if anything local problems is there, you can get this corrected.
Secondly you have to make a list of the foods and the beverages and the things with preservatives that cause this and stop them strictly.
Drink plenty of water orally to keep salivation more.
Use Chewing gum or so, it keeps the saliva flow better and may help to get your problems solved.
