Why Do I Have A Swollen Finger Joint, Which Make It Difficult To Make A Fist?

Good afternoon, I have swollen finger joint, which make it difficult to make a fist. I ve taken time away from physical activities that require clenching such as jiu jitsu but it doesn t seem to help. I take a coupe different vitiamins and ice them but it doesn t seem to help, any other suggestions?

Hi,

If you have single finger swollen then it may be unnoticed trauma. Get at least an X-ray done. Cold fomentation is good. If it is non traumatic then get inflammatory arthritis profile done.
