Hello,

Dry skin and irritation commonly occur due to heat and sweat. Wear soft, loose-fitting cotton clothes as friction can also lead to dry, flaky, or red patches. Take care of your hygiene. Keep your private area clean and dry. Do not wear clothes on which you have sweated without washing.

Harsh soaps or too much washing can strip natural oils. Avoid it. Change the detergents you use to wash clothing. Use medicated or herbal soap for taking baths. Fungal infection occurs due to sweat, warmth, or tight clothing in hot or humid climates. Fungal infection causes itching, redness, or small white patches can appear.

You have symptoms of a mild fungal infection. Wash the area gently with plain water (no soap). Pat dry completely (don’t rub). Then apply a thin layer of clotrimazole ointment twice a day for a week or two. You can also take a course of antifungal medication orally. Maintaining hygiene and taking medicines will help to get rid of the symptoms naturally. Take adequate water.

Steroids like Mometasone are potent/strong and should not be used long-term on the genital area, as the skin is very thin and sensitive there. You should not use Mometasone. Take vitamin E-rich foods or supplements.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
