Why Do I Have Reddish Spots In Place Of Dark Spots After Chemical Peeling?
hii, i have pimples on forhead, below lips and nose. i m consulting a dermatologist and he gave me chemical peeling treatment 2 days before.but there is no difference rather the dark spots have become reddish and are more highlighted. i dont understand what to do and he has told me to apply glycovira cream on dark spots
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. It is normal to develop mild redness and peeling after a chemical peel. If the spots look burnt-like, please revisit your dermatologist. You may need a mild steroid till the scab peels away. It will take multiple sessions(4-6) for the lightening of dark spots. I would suggest that you use glycovira cream only after the redness completely subsides. Use a good sunscreen every 4 hours as peeling make the skin more sensitive to sunlight. Hope this helps you. take care.
