Why Do I Have Repeated Elevated IgE Levels Along With Fatigue, Vertigo, And Random Low Grade Fever?
I have had repeated elevated IgE levels (over 1200) in the last year. Was referred to allergist. Allergies were ruled out as the cause. Order a SPEC and IFE. All normal values except a very low lambda free light chain, kappa was normal but with the low value it would make the ratio high. This is combined with extreme fatigue, vertigo, and random low grade fever. Any suggestions that both drs haven t figured why
There are two main factors contributing in it. Firstly, it might be that the allergic trigger is near you continuously and secondly sometimes in some patients an infestation of the giardia lamblia might be present also. The latest needs some tests such as the examination of the stools in the microscope. Please discuss with your doctor for the above
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
