Why Do I Have The Menstrual Symptoms Even Past Menopause ?

Am well past menopause, but continue to have the same pms symptoms I suffered my whole life. Hysterectomy done many years ago due to extreme endometriosis; yet still have severe low back pain every month, headaches, sleepiness, nightmares, and at least 5 pounds weight gain even when I'm sick in bed with flu and not eating much of anything. P.S., the 5 pounds magically disappears within 4 or 5 days without my doing anything.

Hi,
They are menopausal symptoms and not menstrual symptoms as they are similar. Do not worry. But if it is uncontrollable take hormonal therapy.
