Why Do I Have Unbearable Pain In Lower Stomach If I Have Masturbated Near Period Time?

Hi doctor I am a 29 years woman. Its being 2 years of my marriage. But my husband stays outstation and visits once or twice in a year. But whenever I feel high i don t have any options besides masturbate. But its seems that whenever I masturbate some day before my Menstruation Cycle ..I just feel unbearable pain in my lower abdomen , which is really uncontrollable. I feel like dying..some time. Please help me..I can t say anything about this to anyone. And I am going through since last Feb. Please help....regards, T. Haque, Assam

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Usually masturbation may not cause that much pain.
You once check whether you are having any white discharge or spotting.
Because in case of presence of pelvic inflammatory disease, local lesions like cervical erosion etc, pain can be felt after masturbation.
Better to avoid repeated masturbation, deep penetration during the act and using sharp articles.
If the pain persists, once consult gynecologist and get examined to rule out the presence of vaginal infection, presence of forgotten foreign body etc.
Then with her advice you can take tablets to control the pain.
