Why Do I Have Vaginal Blood Clots And Bleeding Anus?

I m 36 and have been experiencing vaginal blood clots for the past 3 weeks off and on. Also have been experiencing blood coming from anus area off and on for the last year or so. Lately it has been happening more and more. And having difficulties swallowing foods and drinks, what do you think could be the cause for all of this??

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

These things need to get ruled out. bleeding per rectal may be because of hemorrhoids or fissure in your anal area which causes bleeding, to rule out the cause you need to visit a general surgeon who will have a proper examination through proctoscopy and might also need to undergo colonoscopy.

For bleeding per vaginal, I suggest you go for a USG pelvis to rule out any fibroid or cyst which causes bleeding and consult a gynecologist along with your reports.

In the mean time, you can take tranostat for bleeding be that vaginal or rectal, and a laxative (spy figolax 15 ml at bet time).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
