Why Do I See Fairly Large Amount Of Blood In Stools?

i had a bm and a large amount of blood came out. I have been seeing smaller amounts in my stool for a week and that one this morning was a fair amount. I don t feel any hemmeroid but... I have had before.. years ago.. im 50 a guy and normally pretty healthy and active.

Hey,
bloody bowel movement can be due to numerous causes including diverticulosis, angiodysplasia and hemorrhoids as you mentioned. To correctly diagnose the cause, you would need to visit a gastroenterologist who can diagnose your condition with colonoscopy. In the mean while I suggest keep on taking fruits Richy in iron and diet rich in fiber.
