Why Do I Still Have Burning Sensation After Urination Despite Taking Sulfamethoxazole And Phenazopyridine?

hi ,I had UTI .just I finished with the treatment given by my gynecologist .she gave me 3 days treatment of Tab Sulfamethoxazole twice a day and Tab Phenazopyridine.but still I have burning sensation after peeing .

Maybe the treatment was not effective.
You should do a urocylture do determine the kind of bacteria who is causing it and which is right antibiotic for it.
Meanwhile take ibuprofen for pain.
Drink lots of cranberry juice and tea.
