Why Do Foot And Leg Massages During Pedicures Cause Chest Pain For Me And My Daughter?

I have been getting pedicures for years, but when I do, they tend to cause chest pain when I get the massage on my feet/legs. I overlooked this, and kind of started doing at home pedicures, until my 22 year old daughter stated she feels the exact same. Why is this?
