Why Does Alfuzoson Have Less Effect During Late Evenings?

Enlarged prostate & lower urinary trait issues; incomplete emptying of bladder. I am taking Alfuzosin, 10 mg as directed and until the last 2-3 months it was working fine. Now I am getting up many times during the night and have to push very hard to begin urination. The Alfuzoson seems to work during the day as I take it just after my breakfast meal, but it will not hold my urgency and inability to relieve myself in the late evening and night.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
You'll need to see an Urologist, who'll need to examine you.
The medication may need to be changed,as the prostate keeps enlarging.
You'll also need to do following tests :
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,creatinine,RBS,PSA,LFT and platelets.
3. Uroflow test.
4. ultrasound scan-KUB,with residual urine.
