Hi,

Backache and mild cramps can be because of infection which can happen with any intrauterine device. Hence, I would suggest to go for an ultrasound scan to check if it is in proper place also you need to be examined if infection is there then its treatment will resolve your complaints.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
