Hi Dr Rynne, My name is Susan, My mother in-law Alicia had a laparoscopy on Wednesday. Everything seemed to be fine , all of the sudden she went to pee and she said that she had fecal matter on the tissue . she also said it only happened today and it happened twice ... What should I do? She doest want to go to the Hospital

Consult her general surgeon and get evaluated.
It is unusual and we have to rule out possibilities like bowel injury.
A CT is required for further assessment.
