General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The given symptoms could be suggestive of intestinal infection it is the protozoa infection is likely but some time it could be associated with bacterial infection. If I would be doctor of this case, then I would try to treat this case with tablet Ofloxacin with Ornidazole twice a day for five days.

I would again advise to take care in drinking water because it is the water born disease, in very rare case when the treatment fails to work stool need to be sent for laboratory test for culture sensitivity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
