Why Does My Adam's Apple Hurt After Vomiting?
Hi, I recently threw up very violently and now my adam's apple hurts. It feels like it's moved up in my throat and it makes swallowing more difficult. Is this worth going to the E.R. for, as there are no other places open at this hour or will it go away over time.

hello, thanks for ur query, violent vomiting episodes can injure the mucosa od pharynx and vocal cards and esophagial sphincters. u can start. tab.pantop-d(pantoprazole+domperidone) twice daily before food and syp.mucaine gel(anaethtic antacis) for pain removal .twice daily 2tsp.if its still persistent u can visit an ent surgeon to rule out other causes,all d best.take care.
