Why does my cardiologist want me to take a baby asprin everyday ? I have cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. I was at his office the other day and he told me that I needed to take a baby asprin a day but why ?

Aspirin thins your blood. Baby aspirin is more immediate. Why didn't you ask your doctor?
