Why Does My Foreskin Get Stuck Under The Penis Glans After Retracting?
I am a 18 years old male, i can retract my foreskin normally but it gets stuck under the glans during erection, i don t feel pain or swelling but i have to pull it further down or wait until flaccid to pull it back, Should i be worried? Do i need treatment?.

Your foreskin gets stuck under the penis glans after retracting. It is called phimosis. Phimosis commonly occurs due to tight foreskin, cause being congenital. Other causes of phimosis are an infection, inflammation, or scarring from an underling condition. Get clinically examined by a GP / urologist, if it is infection, it needs to be treated. You may need to take a course of antibiotic (Miconazole) and take care of your hygiene.
Phimosis can also occur due to pathology like balanitis, STIs like herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. You can apply topical creams like betamethasone (Celestone) or hydrocortisone in case of infection or to prevent infection. Your treating doctor may recommend circumcision, frenuloplasty or preputioplasty, etc., whatever best suits you. Get treated at the earliest. For a couple of days avoid any type of sexual activity or self pleasuring.
