my husband who suffers from Parkinson s has had constipation quite badly for bout 5 days was prescribed suppositories and laxido Cleared some of the poo 3 days ago .eating very little not passed any solids and now a co0lourless sticky liquid is discharging from anus

Hello,

It may be due to side effects to laxatives or anal irritation. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Anti-parkinsonism drugs may also cause constipation. Give him a high fibre diet with plenty of liquids.

Use Benefiber or Metamucil fibre for bulk formation of stools.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
