Hi Ive been diagnosed with pcos .my problm is that i dont menstrate unless i take antibiotics for infection.meaning if i don t take antibiotics for infection my menses will never come so please i need help.what is the best medicine to take in other to have periods every month because am tired already and i want to get pregnant too

Hi,
Actually antibiotics do not have any effect on your menstrual cycle. Occasionally infection can cause stress and this can affect hormonal levels. Thus, it can delayed or earlier menses. Antibiotic like Rifampin (in treatment of tuberculosis) is known to affect menstrual hormones and thus prepone period.
