Why Does My Pulse Rate Go High During Standing And Walking?
Hi I m 28 yr female I have 2 month old and diagnosed with maternal tachardyia so was on labetalol my whole pregnancy. My cardilogist did echo EKG and holter monitor after I had the baby and everything came back normal but now when I stand up my pulse goes from 88 to 102 and when I walk if I m carrying my daughter it s 117 I told my cardiologist and he doesn t seem concerned he said if it goes back down when I sit its ok but if it stays up for 30 min to 1 hour the. I have a problem should I be concerned right now i have no insurance not til September
Hi welcome to HCM Tachycardia with normal ECG and Holter is stress and anxiety related.So do not worry.check your blood pressure everyday.Drugs like Metoprolol will be helpful if you have these symptoms recurrently.Maternal tachycardia occurs dueto feto placental insufficiency,it should come down by 6weeks postpartum.Avoid anxiety consult cardiologist for better treatment options.
