Why Does My Son Keeps Getting Fever?
hi I have a son who is already 3 years of age. he suffers from on and off fever so I brought him to a doctor for a check up.Unluckily the doctor is on leave. i just let my son have his urine test. and the test have a positive findings for A. urates/PO4 and mucus threads. What does these mean?

Hi...this is normal finding in the urine of any kid who has viral illness. Do not worry about it. The report is normal.
Fever of few days without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.
