Hi,

It seems that your son is having nose blockage due to deviated nasal septum or enlarged adenoids or sinusitis. Thus, he is sniffing always to get some air. The postnasal drip due to mucous discharge coming from the back of the nose is continuously irritating the throat. So he is continuously coughing. Hence, consult an ENT surgeon. You can get a nasal endoscopy and X-ray sinus done. Start Nasoclear nose drop 3 drops twice daily for 2 week. Start Fluticasone nasal spray 1 puff at bedtime for 2 week.Take steam inhalation. Review after 2 week.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
