Why Does One Become Emotional & Cry After A Laparocopy?

Hello, I had a laparoscopy done on July 31st, 2014. I was warned about the severe shoulder gas pains, but was wondering when the gas typically goes away. I am really struggling and also I have been extremely emotional and crying nonstop since surgery. Is that another normal effect? Thanks!

Hi and thank you for asking!
with regards to emotional effect , it is resonance for a short term after laparoscopy. Ot is a side effect t of anesthesia.
But it is not related with a long term varying feeling like in your case.
It is not related with laparoscopy procedure neither with sedation drugs.
