Why Does One Have Headaches Post Intake Of Birth Control Pills?

Ive just recently had a bad reaction to birth control pills that had me bleeding alot and have big blood clots the doctor took blood and my hemoglobin level was 8.3 they put me on iron pills but now my head been hurting bad! for the past 3 days is that just a sympton of the iron pills
