Why Does One Have Pain In The Temples Post An Orgasm?

I just had an orgasm in the shower and as I reached it I could feel a very sharp pain in my temples. It made me dizzy and felt like I was gonna fall down. It was about maybe 15minutes ago but the pain is still there, I can barely move fast to walk. It s kinda going down cus I took Midol but its still there bothering me.

Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM!
I appreciate your concern.

I don't think there is anything to worry about.
It seems to be a post coital or orgasmic headache. It is caused by the brain reaction to orgasm. It is benign. Indomethacine is very helpful in this type of headache.

I would recommend you to measure your blood pressure, to exclude a possible high blood pressure which may be the cause of headache.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Iliri
