hello, my 17 year old over wieght asthmatic brother just had surgery for appendicitis yesterday afternoon and they have to keep giving him oxygen still because they say his oxygen is too low, what does that mean? its a lil phlem in his throat. Is he going to be alright?
Hi. I can understand your concern. MAy be his asthma was not under control before his surgery so post op bronchospasm can decrease oxygen levels. He should improve with nebulized bronchodilators and oxygen. Don't worry, he will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
