Why Does Penis Goes Limp During Sex?
doc I have a problem. I have a new girlfriend and we have amazing sex, but sometimes during sex my penis just goes limp... I havent ever had this problem in the past. it usually happens after we have already done it. any suggestions...i am overweight could it be because of that?

During ejaculation, body allows the penis to fill with blood, become firm and erect and then become flaccid after ejaculation or stopping of sexual stimulation. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep an erection of penis firm enough for sexual intercourse. Some underlying conditions like DM, HTN, high cholesterol, obesity, anxiety, stress etc which can lead to poor blood supply to penis can cause a penis to be limp. Exercising regularly, weight reduction, avoid smoking, alcohol consumption etc, taking healthy balanced diet daily, stress and anxiety management, taking some multivitamins and micronutrients like vitamin C, D, E, B-Complex, folic acid, zinc, omega-3 fatty acid etc may help to improve ejaculation dysfunction. Sildenafil (viagra) may be a option of treatment premature ejaculation.
