Hello,

Treatment is commonly done with the help of medications, to reduce pain and infection. Orchitis may occur due to injury or medical emergency. Surgery may be recommended only when there is some complication or when the response to treatment is not there or when conditions worsen. Take NSAIDs, Naproxen, one stat after food for relieve from pain and inflammation.

Orchitis is when there is inflammation in the testicles. It is mostly due to bacterial infection such as an STI. Get examined by a urologist. Get STD tests done. You will be treated with a course of antibiotics / antivirals. If a bacterial infection or STD causes orchitis, you'll need treatment. It can take weeks or months for the swelling to go away completely. This may involve 10 to 14 days of oral medications, cold compression and rest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
