Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The side of my stomach feels like it is numb or fallen asleep. It used to happen when I sat, but now its when I lay and even stand. It doesn t hurt per say but it feels like it feels when your e foot has finished falling asleep. It tingles. It is not continual, but it s happening more often and more often.
The simplest reason for such a tingling feeling on the side of stomach can be either psychological , due to stress and anxiety or can be a problem with the spinal cord in the form of some inflammation or disc protruding .
Get a consultation of a Neurologist as there can be a worst deep rooted problem. Get an MRI of the spine done. Do not neglect.
