Why Does Sugar Level Drop?

mY BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL WAS 133 ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. tHEN IT WENT DOWN TO 114. i TOOK IT SEVERAL HOURS LATER AFTER EATING A SMALL MEAL. hOW IS THIS POSSIBLE I M 54,5 1, AND HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE(UNDER CONTROL) I TOOK MY HIGH BLOOD MED. AFTER i TOOK MY BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL. I TOOK 1MG. XANAX LATE LAST NIGHT.

Diabetes can be diagnosed based on fasting( 8 hour fast), 2 hour post meal and HbA1c.

If the fasting is above 126, then the person may be considered a diabetic. If your reading is a fasting reading then it is in the diabetic range.
You may consider having it rechecked to confirm this diagnosis.

If you are diabetic, it can be controlled with diet, exercise and medication. There are a number of different medications available.
