OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
As several hormones are released in spikes during sexual intercourse, the metabolic rate of the body rises and this leads to the increase in the body temperature. Mostly, this is subtle and goes unobserved. If it is noticeable, you may have to make the room temperature comfortable. If there is no resolve, hormone studies may be done to see if you have any abnormal thyroid function. Take plenty of liquids and avoid beverages before. Avoid strenuous exercise before going to bed. Hope this helps.
