Hi.... I have a joint on my hand that gets Stuck , for lack of a better term, when I bend it down. Over the last few weeks it has gotten worse and now hurts when I make a fist and try to open my hand up again. I have realized that taking my other hand I can release the pressure when I move the stuck finger s tip of the affected hand. What is that all about?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got trigger finger. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic(diclofenac). If not relived by this treatment then another treatment option is local application of triamcilone injection locally in tendon sheath of finger. Sometimes release operation may be required. You should get yourself investigated for diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis as it is common in these conditions. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care
