General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The discharge you noticed is blood mixed with thick mucus. Depo shots are expected to thicken mucus. This is completely normal and nothing to be worried about.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
