Why Does The Period Does Not Stop?
Hi, I have a mirena iud (my second as my first mirena had been in for 4 years and it was replaced) and my period does not stop. I want to skip my period that starts in 2 weeks as I ll be away on holidays. Two doctors have told me two different things - one suggested primolut-n and the other provera 10mg - both tds. I dont know which directions to folow. Please help!

Hi,
Primolut N and Provera are equally effective to delay periods. I would personally advice Provera and continue to take till you wish to delay your period. Cycle will usually resume within a week of stopping the pill.
