Why Does The Yellowish Bruise That Looks Like Broken Vein At Back Of My Knee Hurt?

Hi, past Sat. my right leg felt tight and hurt under the knee. I checked and it looked like a broken vein. still felt funny , tight, thru Monday , I checked again,a day or so later, it looked like it was bruised, yellowish. Back of Knee is still sore but leg iss better.
