Why Doesn't My Weight Show?

I have weight and exercise problems. I currently weigh 295 lbs but have been told by many, including nutritionists and personal trainers at the gym that I don't look that big. Is there some way to check and see why I look the way I do? They seem to think I look like I'm 260-270ish. I'm kinda stuck on 295 after losing 18 lbs.
