Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding brown coloured discharge came out from your ear and a boll like thing at the edge of ear canal. For this I would like to say it is most likely wax from ear came out after becomming soft by water as all these happen after your head cleaning. This brown coloured wax is formed in every one but in majoity of cases it comes out regularly and no body can judge it. While in some individuals there is tendency of ear to retain wax, such persons some times have some problems like ear blockade, pain and otitis externa from time to time and at that time necessary treatment is requared.
