Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I started eating healthier last year, lots of protein, less carbs, no sugar and lost about 20 pounds. I am on my feet for work (nurse) and take walks. My legs have gotten terribly thin. Abnormal looking. I exercise them and they just keep getting thinner, even though I was so afraid, I started eating more carbs and sugar again. Can you help?
Greetings Madam. My opinion as per your details provided would be that based on the following details you've provided viz., Is it only the leg that is getting thin or is it the whole body? If it's of whole body, i would suggest you to have yourself a complete checkup / examination by a nearby doctor / Family Physician who guide you for further evaluation and treatment . As you have already lost 20 pounds, it will be wise on part of you to go to doctor at the earliest possible and get yourself screened.
