Why Has The Consistency And Color Of My Stools Changed After Treatment For Hemorrhoids ?
I m 32, male and had bleeding with bm s and discomfort in my lower left abdomin. I m now being treated for internal hemmorhoids. The last couple days my stool has changed from brown and smooth to yellowish in color with little black flakes in it. Today it looked odd so I poked at it with a Q-tip and it was very rubbery. It also looks kinda stringy. What s going on here?

The thing you noticed may be old blood clot giving this appearance.
To be on safe side go for stool test to rule out possibility of having worms.
