I’ve been experiencing right side pain for a week now. Last week i had trouble pooping and i was throwing up mucus and pink stuff, the pain was consistent for a couple days , went away and now it only occurs during the night and mornings. It lasts hours and no medication or heating pad has worked.. should i contact my doctor?

Hi,

Yes, contact your doctor immediately. The symptoms you are experiencing could be related to a number of different conditions, some of which could be serious. The pain on your right side, difficulty pooping, and vomiting could be indicative of an intestinal blockage or inflammation of the colon.

The fact that the pain is still occurring during the night and morning and that it has not been relieved by medication or a heating pad could also suggest a more serious issue. It's important that you seek medical attention promptly so that your doctor can evaluate your symptoms and provide an accurate diagnosis. Depending on what they find, they may recommend further testing or refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
