Why Have I Gained Too Much Weight After Taking Livogen And Neurobion?
Hello Doctor, My hemoglobin was 6.4 and as a part of treatment Doctor prescribed me Livogen Tablets twice in a Day. But after started taking Livogen twice and Neurobion tablets once a day, I have gained weight of 6 kgs in last month which is really alarming. Kindly help to resolve.
Livogen causes better absorption of food. It is given to improve general health condition that is caused due to poor diet intake. It helps to improve anemia and the use of folate in the body. Take home-made nutritious food that is balanced. Neurobion also improves metabolism and liver health. Better metabolism, better digestion and better food absorption helps in weight gain.
Since you have gained weight. You can consult your treating doctor. You may need to taper the dose of your medicine or stop taking it. You should limit junk food intake, avoid consumption of alcohol, increase the intake of fruits in your diet, take healthy food like well-cooked cereals, leafy vegetables.
