Why Have I Not Got My Periods Despite Taking Cyclenorm E And P Tablets?
Hello Im 24 years old and have PCOD. My period is late for 1 and half month.Pregnancy test done two times it is negative. My doctor prescribed me cyclenorm E and P tablets for 3 days and said the periods will come in 10 days but i didnt get my periods 10 days passed
You have taken combined pill for 3 days. You can wait for a week more to get withdrawal bleeding. If you are still not getting after a week long wait, you can repeat a pregnancy card test. If that is negative take medroxyprogesterone acetate 10mg for 5 days and wait for withdrawal bleeding.
To make cycles regular you can try some lifestyle modifications like regular exercise, healthy eating habits, regular sleep pattern and stress free mind. Reducing a few pounds itself will help in correcting the hormonal imbalance and regularize the cycle. If you have not checked your TSH and prolactin levels in blood then may be you can get it tested to rule out other causes for irregular cycles.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
