Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Usually in children younger than 1 year of age is due to viral infection. Viral infection can cause
nasal congestion and cough. It may take 2 weeks to get better.
Asthalin is given for Asthma. may be your doctor is suspecting Asthma. Usually it is not recommended to give cough mixture to infants. it may affect respiration.
Crocin drop will help in inflammation of throat, and fever.
Vomiting could be due to Cough or could be as a reflex, if syrup or medicines were given in lie down position or directly deep in throat instead of mouth. Some antibiotics can cause vomiting, but you have not mentioned about antibiotics. If it is viral, there is no need for antibiotics. For nasal congestion, she should be given saline nasal drops, which are safe and effective. you may put cold mist vaporizer in her room.
Use good hygiene, and avoid contacts with people coughing or
sneezing. If she is getting fever, low appetite, and refusing to eat, difficulty in sleeping, you may contact your doctor again.
Take care.
