ENT Specialist 's  Response
Mr Abdul, at the age of 20 and having small ball kind painful swelling in throat indicates persistent tonsil with acute exacerbation ie acute tonsillitis may be unilateral, may be acute peri tonsillar abscess. If the pain subsided no issue but it should not recur. Meet the ENT surgeon if it is confirmed he may plan for interval tonsillectomy and histopathology examination of the removed tissue. take care
