Why I Am Getting Only Spots Instead Of Heavy Bleeding After The Intake Of Cytotec?

hi, i had not had my period this month and had a pregnancy test which says i am pregnant. i took 12 cytotec tab,4 each at 3 hours interval.i started yesterday at 4:45 pm. no bleeding has occurred yet,just until this morning at 7:45 i have some spots. i was expecting heavy bleeding but not happening yet,why is that? pls respond asap as i am planning to do second round of cytotec today. thanks a lot

well let me tell you cytotec or misoprostol alone is inadequate to perform an abortion. and the bleeding you are expecting will not start unless the embryo remain s implanted with trophoblasts. you were to consider mifepristone 200mg first , then wait for 36 hrs-48hrs and then start misoprostol 800mg stat, followed by 400mg 4hrly to a max dose of 2000mg. this protocol has a better outcome , and protocol with cytotec alone has been given away with. this has to be done in a registered MTP center AND NOT AT HOME.
