I am almost 16 years old and I have not started my period yet, nor do I have any signs of breast development though I have have very light pubic and armpit hair for a while. I have visited the doctor about it and been referred to a hospital. I had a very inconclusive appointment there and was referred to another hospital, and am still waiting for an appointment. There is a history of late periods in my family but I dont think any as late as mine will be. I have been told time and time again that it will come eventually but it is very upsetting and I really don't know what to do. Any advice or information at all would be very welcome. Is there any possible treatment that would speed it along? Thank you for your time.
