Why I Feel Like The Medicine Is Stuck In My Throat?

I started taking my oral typhoid immunization and I m not supposed to take it with food. It feels like the pill is stuck in my throat. I am only supposed to drink water so it will not dissolve before it gets to my kidneys. What should I do? How do I get it out of my throat without eating something?

Hello,

Oral typhoid vaccine may contain live attenuated strain of typhoid bacteria. If it is struck in mouth means you may contact your ENT specialist he will remove it by endoscopy. Swallow water orally then it may enter into stomach. This is not going to damage kidney so don't worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
