Why Is Novastat Required In Gestational Diabetes After Child Birth?
my age is 27 ,height 5.5,weight is 72 .i recently got diabetis when my second child was born.so the doctor recommended me to use zoryl m2 and novastat 10.so why i have to use this novastat.please answer my question. for which problem this novastat tablet is used

Dear Madam,
Zoryl M2 as you know is a medicine given for Diabetes. Novastat is rosuvastatin which is given for control of cholesterol or to prevent diabetes related cardiac complications.
My opinion-
Zoryl M2 may be fine tuned as per the sugar values.
Novastat 10mg may be reduced if LDL cholesterol is in normal range.
Kindly evaluate yourself completely for diabetes and diabetes related complications.
I feel that a young person like you should be on lesser dosage of diabetes medication but it depends on your sugar values.

I understand your concern.Tablet Novastat is a statin group of drug used for decreasing cholesterol levels in the body.As your weight is 72 kgs,you are slightly overweight for your weight.
That may be the reason your doctor has prescribed you this medication.
So,you check your cholesterol levels once.LDL is a bad cholesterol, our aim should be to keep LDL cholesterol lower than 100 & increase the HDL cholesterol levels more than 40.
